The Hakomi Method offers gentle, effective and collaborative techniques that give both client and therapist a pathway to understand the core early experiences, beliefs, and somatic patterns that go with emotional suffering and stuckness. Together, we discover and untangle these unconscious patterns and move towards new possibilities and bodily freedom.
In this introductory workshop you will learn how to gain access to these unconscious patterns with a method that is guided by the principles of Mindfulness, Non-Violence, Unity, Organicity and Mind-Body Wholism. We will teach you how to create a therapeutic relationship that sets the stage for deep exploration and rich transformation.
We will use lectures, demonstrations and experiential practice to help you have a personal experience of both giving and receiving the work. We know that Hakomi will not only enrich your therapy practice, but will give you a way to work that is creative and nourishing for the practitioner. Join Us!
