Hakomi Practice Session – Introducing Mindfulness

Hakomi’s unique application of mindfulness holds the power to invite clients into alternate states of consciousness to process core material.  And yet, for many clients understanding and working in mindfulness can be challenging.

This 2 hour practice session is for Hakomi students and graduates to practice honing our Hakomi skills and competencies.

We will review & practice:

  • Introducing mindfulness to new clients
  • Psycho-education about the benefits of mindfulness and the unique application of mindfulness in a Hakomi session
  • Working with clients for whom mindfulness is unfamiliar or challenging
  • Inducing mindfulness.
