You’ve completed your Hakomi training or are deeply immersed in this powerful somatic-experiential approach. Now, you’re wondering—how does it apply to sexuality? Sexuality, as a vital yet complex part of the human experience, offers profound opportunities for personal and relational growth. However, it is often overlooked in therapy, despite research showing that many clients long for a safe, nonjudgmental space to explore their sexual concerns.
In this workshop, we’ll integrate experiential learning, mindfulness, and Hakomi’s core principles to explore intimacy, desire, and connection in a sex-positive, embodied way. You’ll gain practical skills for introducing the topic of sexuality with new clients and discover how mindfulness can be a powerful tool for cultivating a more vibrant, wakeful sex life.
Hakomi’s experiential techniques naturally support the exploration of sexual shame, fears, and desires, helping to uncover and transform unconscious patterns around intimacy. By centering on felt experience, practitioners can guide clients toward greater presence, attunement, and connection—qualities far more essential to fulfilling intimacy than any specific lovemaking technique.
Join us for this engaging workshop and expand your ability to help clients cultivate a deeper, more conscious relationship with their sexuality!
