Mats Hellsten

After living in the San Francisco Bay Area for 35 years, I moved back to my native country Sweden in 2020. I work with California clients via video remotely from Sweden, as a California Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist. I work with non-California clients, including clients who reside in Sweden and in other parts of Europe, via video as an unlicensed therapist.
I provide a warm and welcoming therapeutic environment in which you can safely explore your concerns. I’ll work with you to overcome limiting patterns and discover new, more fulfilling ways to be in the world. Along the way you may discover deeply held beliefs and emotional responses that shape your experience, and choose to let go of what no longer serves you, while giving greater expression to your authentic self.
