Selin Strait

I am a licensed professional counselor and supervisor in Portland, OR and a member of the leadership team and faculty of the Hakomi Institute of the Pacific Northwest. I began my work as a therapist in 2011 in community mental health and mental health crisis services and started private practice in 2013. My graduate work was in Dance/Movement Therapy and I continue to enjoy movement and dance and appreciate the power and wisdom in embodiment. Working in community and growing things nourishes and sustains me. I bring a deep love for our world, a passion for changing oppressive systems and a commitment to human evolution and healing to my work.
