Jessica Montgomery
Jessica Montgomery has a 20-year history of leading personal development workshops and student counseling. She has a B.A. in Psychology from Reed College, a Summa Cum Laude M.S.W. in Clinical Social Work from Portland State University, and has done Post-Graduate study at the Institute for Family Centered Therapy. She won a national University Club Fellowship, and is an American Association of University Women award recipient. She has also taken specialized trainings in Group Process, Trauma, Attachment, Sexuality and Intimacy, Art Therapy, Cultural Competency, and Child Development. Following many years of agency work, Jessica began her Hakomi and M.E.T.A. Training in 2004, and resumed her private practice in 2006. In addition to her teaching Hakomi in Portland, Jessica is a Re-Creation of the Self facilitator; is developing a local Attachment-based Training with Donna Roy, Jon Eisman and others; and will be taking the lead on expanding our offerings in the Seattle area. A long time Portland resident, Jessica is an active leader of a diverse intentional community committed to higher consciousness.
