ABOUT
Wen-Yu Cheng
I am a licensed psychologist, Jungian analyst, and neuropsychologist offering bilingual (English and Mandarin) psychotherapy, neurorehabilitation, and neuropsychological evaluations. My practice is licensed in Washington, Taiwan, and through PSYPACT for teletherapy across the U.S. With training
from Mount Sinai Medical Center in New York, Barrow Neurological Institute in Phoenix, and the C.G. Jung Institute of San Francisco, I integrate a wealth of expertise into my therapeutic approach.
My practice focuses on individual, couple, and group therapy, using the Hakomi Method to address relationship challenges, life transitions, racial identity concerns, and mood disorders. I blend the Hakomi Method with Jungian analysis, including dream work and active imagination, to support deep healing and self-awareness.
I specialize in working with neurological conditions such as brain injuries, chronic illness, and Alzheimer’s disease. Additionally, I facilitate Hakomi training in China as a teacher-in-training, as well as mindfulness meditation for individuals with spinal cord injuries at Mount Sinai’s Transitions Support Group, offering a space for healing and growth during difficult life transitions.
I look forward to working with you, utilizing Hakomi and other therapeutic resources, to support your journey toward wholeness and well-being.
