ABOUT
Lisa Hibler
I am a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor and Certified Hakomi Therapist in private practice in Asheville, NC with a Master’s Degree in Transpersonal Counseling Psychology from Naropa University in Boulder, CO. I blend mindfulness and somatic psychotherapy approaches in my work, and use a compassionate, embodied way of working as a therapist to move clients towards change and growth. I use a somatic lens to support clients in attachment and relationship work and help them understand and shift relational patterns. Emotional healing, supporting authenticity and creating deeper connections are passions for me. I blend Hakomi Mindful Somatic Psychotherapy, somatic approaches for healing attachment wounding (DARe), interpersonal neurobiology, authentic relating and conflict work and an understanding of developmental trauma and missing developmental experiences to support clients in transforming core patterns to live more meaningful and connected lives. A primary area of focus for me is working individually with adults on relationships and helping them build stronger, healthier relationships, and a second area of focus involves working with other therapists and healers supporting their professional growth and healing. I am grateful to do the work I do and feel honored to know and connect with the clients I work with.
