Julia Andrade

Julia Andrade is a Certified Hakomi Teacher and Therapist in the Matrix-Hakomi training in Brazil. She has been in private practice as a psychotherapist since 2000 and as a body therapist since 1984 in Rio de Janeiro. Julia has post-graduate degrees in Jungian Psychology and in the Laban/ Bartenief Movement System. She has also trained in Biodynamics Therapy, Bioenergetic Analysis, Awareness Movement and Circular Dances. In the 90’s, Julia went to Boulder, following the path of her buddha dharma teachings, and met Hakomi and Mukara Meredith there. It was a transformative experience for her. About 15 years later, she met Mukara again in Brazil, who was teaching MatrixWorks there, a method integrating Hakomi to work with groups as living systems. In 2013, Julia contributed to the organization of the first Matrix-Hakomi training in Brazil. Julia is now teaching Matrix-Hakomi in study groups and workshops.
