Kate Mazuy

Kate Mazuy has a BA in English Literature from Colby College and an MA in Transpersonal Counseling Psychology from Naropa University. She received her Hakomi certification in 2002. Other trainings include Dialectical Behavior Therapy, EMDR, Matrixworks Groups as Living Systems, and Somatic Experiencing. Kate is a PACT Level 2 couples therapist and an Approved Clinical Supervisor for the state of Colorado. She has also been a Wilderness First Responder for over 20 years.

Currently, Kate is a psychotherapist in private practice and adjunct faculty at Naropa University in the Transpersonal Wilderness Therapy Program. She has been involved in the program since its inception in 2002, and was recently chair of the program. In her private practice Kate works with individuals, couples, groups, and offers supervision. She works both in the office, and also takes people into the natural world. Her passion is helping people experience their wholeness and inherent connection with all living beings.
