Embodied Intimacy: A Hakomi-Informed Approach to Mindful Relationship Sex Therapy
This experiential workshop offers a rare opportunity to explore the foundational principles of Hakomi Mindful Somatic Psychotherapy while deepening your understanding of embodied intimacy and mindful sexuality.
Through Hakomi’s unique use of mindfulness and the body, participants will learn how unconscious material shapes eroticism and relational dynamics. Experiential practices will demonstrate how Hakomi’s core skills—such as tracking present-moment experience, making contact, and cultivating the internal observer—can support deeper self-awareness and relational attunement.
If you’ve been considering the Passion & Presence® Certificate Training in Mindful Relationship Sex Therapy that begins May 17th, this workshop offers a chance to experience our online experiential learning style, fulfill the Hakomi introductory workshop prerequisite (for those with no prior training), and gain practical skills you can take with you whether or not you continue into the certificate training.
Passion & Presence® is a Hakomi-informed approach that equips therapists with a compassionate, evidence-informed pathway for supporting partners in navigating long-term intimacy. Rather than pathologizing erotic challenges, Passion & Presence® views them as meaningful signals—gateways to deeper self-understanding, relational healing, and renewed sexual vitality.
