Ashleigh Rees

Ashleigh has a private practice as Social worker, Counsellor and Certified Hakomi Therapist that works with both individuals, groups and family’s in Tākaka – New Zealand. Ashleigh enjoys working with a diverse range of peoples & ages. She is also specifically passionate
about supporting Women and Mothers, she is a registered provider for ACC Integrated Service – Sensitive Claims counsellor (funded therapy for survivors of sexual trauma) and Physical Injuries, specialising in the field of Maternal Birth Injuries and Birth Trauma.

Ashleigh offers an integrative therapy drawing on my background in social work through a systemic and system-based lens as well an attuned relational approach as a Hakomi therapist through a mindful, body-centred exploration. I provide a curious, compassionate and trauma informed approach to supporting people on their journey to understanding and wholeness.
