Northeast Trainings in Princeton, NJ

Princeton has been our Northeast Hakomi training center since 2003. Participants attend from all over the Northeast, including NYC, New Jersey, Philadelphia, New England, upstate NY, central and western PA, the Washington, DC/MD/VA area, and many other locations. The trainings support out-of-town travelers with group lodging rates and ground transportation support. See below for more information.

Comprehensive Training in Hakomi Mindful Somatic Psychotherapy
Module One: The Hakomi Method for Professionals
Dates 2016: Oct. 27-30, Dec. 1-4;
Dates 2017: Jan. 12-15, Feb. 23-26, April 6-9, May 18-21, July 13-16, Sept. 7-10
Module Two: Advanced Hakomi for Therapists and Counselors
Dates 2017: Oct. 19-22, Dec. 7-10;
Dates 2018: January 18-21, March 1-4, April 5-8, May 17-20, June 21-24
Schedule: Thursday, Friday and Saturday 9:30-5:30 and Sunday 9:30-1:30
CE’s: Available for NBCC; and for psychologists, social workers, professional counselors and MFT’s (see below).
This course is also approved by the Association of Social Work Boards – ASWB NJ CE Course Approval Program Provider #100, Course #1021 through Oct. 6, 2016. Social workers will receive the following type and number of credits:  Clinical Social Work Practice – Year One: 168  credits; Year Two: 145 credits.
Participants seeking CE’s:
–  For Module One are required to complete the entire training module of 165 hrs.
–  For Module Two are required to complete the entire training module of 145 hrs.
A completion certificate will be given to each participant at the end of the course.

CE’s:

NBCC: Hakomi Institute has been approved by NBCC as an Approved Continuing Education Provider (ACEP No. 5476.) Programs that do not qualify for NBCC credit are clearly identified. Hakomi Institute is solely responsible for all aspects of the program. (May be applied for license requirements for MFT’s, LCSW’s, LPC’s, and LMHC’s in certain states.)

C.E.S.: Continuing Education credit for this program is awarded by Commonwealth Educational Seminars (C.E.S.) for the following professions: (Click here for more information)
